Magnesium can increase the testosterone values?

In a study published in the March edition of the items Biol Trace Res. (2010) examined Cinar and employees about the supplements of magnesium may increase the levels of sex hormone testosterone. Any increase will be valuable for everyone who aims to become stronger and gain more muscle.

A group of taekwondo athletes were divided into three groups:

Despite the fact that neither body weight, body composition, energy intake, or blood samples of magnesium status, there are interesting findings. This is perhaps first and foremost that we know that lack of magnesium can restrict performance capability - in addition to the lack of magnesium is relatively common, both in terms of population as a whole but also for athletes who need to think about weight.

Do not use udos choice!

Udos Choice is probably one of the most bought oil mixtures. This is, in my opinion a little for no reason. Udos Choice includes the vegetable omega-3 fatty acid Alfalinolsyre (abbr ALA). The parent fatty acid is converted, however very little of the bioactive omega3 fatty acids EPA and DHA.

This is the conclusion of a research report from 2007 , published in the journal Applied Physiology and Metabolism Nutritrion (APNM). Researchers write the following about the conversion from ALA to EPA and DHA;

"Studies in Human Shows That asymptotically equal May 2% of ALA is converted two EPA and <0.5% of ALA is converted two DHA. Because the capacity of this pathway is very low in healthy, nonvegetarian humans, even large amounts of dietary ALA garden a negligible effect Wed plasma DHA "
Udos Choice

In other words, the conversion from ALA to EPA of about 5%, while conversion to DHA is only 0.5%. From this it is appropriate to the pressure that they therefore should not recommend Udos choice as a source of omega-3 fatty acids. I would instead recommend the seal oil, fish oil and krill oil as the top three sources.

Marine omega-3 has in several studies known to be significantly better than vegetable omega-3 when it comes to heart and brain. That said, I would also point out that I do not see clear evidence of why you should have an extra supply of omega-6 fatty acids (which also receives via udos choice). Are there any need - it is to increase intake of omega-3, and reduce your intake of omega-6 (typical sources of omega-6 is margarine, sunflower oil, soybean oil and cereals).

Chromium Supplementation

What you can expect of chromium supplementation
Chromium is an essential trace element involved in the regulation of glucose turnover in the body. It is an essential mineral that helps the hormone insulin to transport sugar from the blood into the cells. It is found naturally in foods such as apricots, sesame seeds, soy beans and other legumes such as various types of lentils and beans.

In studies, chromium known to improve glucose levels and secretion of insulin in people with type-2 diabetes. Research on healthy people indicates no significant effect related to weight loss.

No effect on body composition
This result is also in line with studies of people involved in physical activity such as strength training and various sports. Here they have not found any effect on body composition and physical performance (controlled for age and gender).
Chromium Supplementation

Caffeine increases the metabolism of slim people

Caffeine is found in more than 600 different plants. Caffeine has a reputation for providing increased energy levels and stimulate fat metabolism and is therefore frequently used by dieters. A cup (2dl) of coffee provides about 100mg of caffeine, while many energy drinks can contain between 100 and 200mg of caffeine (they need to rest across the border to buy).

Caffeine works by stimulating the central nervous system (CNS), as well as the liberator of fat from fat cells - through something called cyclic AMP (cAMP).

The greatest effect on slim men
Studies on caffeine shows that caffeine increases the metabolism of fat in slim people. In men, it also appears that caffeine can affect metabolism directly, by increasing the level of T3 (the most active thyroid hormone).

It does however appear that coffee also may contain other components that has a positive effect on fat metabolism. In a study found a correlation between intake of coffee without caffeine and weight loss.

Caffeine Women

Caffeine makes women stronger
In a recently published article by Erica Goldstein presented in the May edition of the Journal of the International society of sports nutrition found that caffeine increases the strength in women who regularly exercise strength.

In a randomized study, 15 women were given either 6mg of caffeine per kg body weight or placebo for 7 days. After an hour the women were tested in an RPM bench press and how many repetitions they then failed in 60% of 1 RPM (equivalent to 20 to 25 repetitions).

There was a statistically significant increase in the maximum power of those before the test had taken caffeine. The interesting part of this study is that it stands in contrast to the current position of the ISSN as in January concluded that the effect of caffeine on maximum strength was ambiguous, but that the positive effect seemed to turn out in several repetitions.
